CONSIDERATIONS
WET BREATHING: There is little that could be considered traditional about my world where family, art, medicine, business and politics are balanced cautiously on the very CONSCIOUS act of breathing. I call this "wet breathing" where sound and image undulate with a cadence that washes over involuntary breathing response.
BODY: I found the practice of drawing and painting the body limiting in its traditional exercises so I challenged myself and worked from memory, painting imagined characters in narrative settings. Later, I referenced the body through its absence.
